@RadioFreeTom The implication would be he confused two words, immigrant and migrant. He said a third word. Phonetically. Did he mean it? You'd have to decide it's more likely he confused two words he didn't say than a word he did say and then corrected to another one. It's your guy

Ridiculous. @richlowry (not tagged here, natch) obviously got crossed up between 'immigrants' (short i) and migrants (long i) -- started mispronouncing "migrants" with short i; instantly corrected himself with no embarrassment because it was patently a mispronunciation. Geez.

The difference: The upsetting things said by Trump and Vance are not true. The upsetting things said about Trump and Vance are true. Trump really did mount a violent coup against the Constitution. He and his relatives really did take bribes in office, including from foreign governments. He really was helped into power by Russian espionage agencies. He really did steal secret documents from the US government after his election defeat. And Vance really did, and by his own admission, intentionally "create stories" for political advantage that put residents of his state at risk of physical harm.

@BrettFavre There was a place recently, I can't remember but I think it was a convention in Chicago, and there were tons of American flags and they kept talking about freedom. It was awesome

Don’t get why some Americans are against America.
I see flags from other countries being flown on cars, trucks and houses.
Anyone else wonder why? I don’t expect 🇺🇸 flying when I travel overseas, but it’s done on the daily here.
