Let me start by stating that I am NOT on Iran's side in this conflict. I am merely reposting the letter below to start a much-needed dialogue regarding this very public attempt at reframing of America's role in the international order. If America leaves the Middle East and its allies and rivals alike to fight to secure safe passage of petroleum products through the Strait of Hormuz, what the odds that Iran just sides with them? The risk of everyone ganging up on and ostracizing the bully is not 0%—especially after world leaders juxtapose @POTUS' commentary with Masoud's commentary below. Investors must start mentally preparing for some major Fourth Turning fireworks in the coming months!

What is it with Bitcoin maxis and their obsession with intelligence? "Study Bitcoin." "You need to understand Bitcoin." Revealing, to say the least. Of all people, maxis seem to understand Bitcoin the least. If they did, we could have a rational discussion about its technical and scalability issues without being dismissed as heretics. But that, of course, would require actual understanding, not just blind dogma.

No I understand exactly what you're arguing. It isn't an original view. I have responded to others saying the same thing before. Being too early to an idea is often indistinguishable from being wrong. Bitcoin in Bitcoin terms is self referential - a closed loop. And it has no meaning without an anchor to a common exchange rate that other goods and services are measured in. Even measuring an item "in gold terms" is essentially just a measurement of gold's fiat value vs the fiat value of that item. It's inescapable.

EndeavorOS has made two statements which suggest, rather strongly, that their "Arch-based, terminal-centric" Linux distribution will not be implementing Age Verification functionality. "Besides the fact that [Age Verification] goes against FOSS fundamentals, we simply don’t have the manpower or resources to take on this near-impossible task." A Global Liquidity Crisis Is Underway… What’s Next? I joined our friend @MariaBartiromo on @FoxBusiness to break down why the escalating US-Israel-Iran conflict has moved beyond an energy supply shock and evolved into a global liquidity crisis. Gulf Coast economies are not generating the revenue required to sustain their bids in global equities, global credit, and private credit, while the net international investment surplus economies in Asia are being starved of the crude oil they need to sustain growth in household savings, corporate profits, and foreign exchange reserves that underpin global capital markets. As long as this conflict persists, @42Macro expects markets to remain in a risk-off, INFLATION regime. Moreover, the latest forward guidance suggests there will likely not be a major central bank put in response to the current global liquidity crisis.

Love how many computers Omarchy have brought back to life. Windows and macOS will end-of-life devices willy-nilly, but Linux revives them from obsolence, and proves that even a 2012 CPU is PLENTY FAST for so many things. Even a gorgeous tiling window manager like Hyprland.
