It’s here! I’m thrilled to announce Index: product planning for leaders building the future

Index was born out of a big gap I felt during my time at Canva, struggling to create, organize, and share roadmaps.
Hours were spent copying projects from whiteboards to tables. Trawling different tools to piece together updates. Constantly re-formatting presentations to get everyone aligned.
I realized: even with amazing collaboration tools at Canva and Atlassian, there was still no seamless way to plan and communicate upcoming work.
We went deep — talking to product, design, and engineering leaders while partnering with early users at Deputy, Immutable, and Woolworths. It became clear: current tools weren’t cutting it.
Some PMs used clunky, high-cost tools. Others (like me) defaulted to Sheets and Docs because they were free, though far from ideal.
With Index, we’re making product planning easy, effective, and accessible. We want everyone, from PMs to design and engineering, to have the best tools possible for brainstorming, planning, and sharing their dreams for the future.
