This must stop. Ofcouse judges must take 4-6 weeks of in a year. But, why the whole court is closed. Let us say few judges take leave now and Others, some other time. Like in any other office👍🙏
Anand Ranganathan@ARanganathan72

Starting tomorrow, Supreme court of India is on a six-week summer vacation and will be operating at just 19% of its capacity. There are 53 million cases pending in Indian courts - 93,143 of them are pending in the Supreme Court. A judge can go on a vacation, a judiciary cannot.

@indiamusings You have Gill, Sudarshan and above all King Kohli. At least watch the match to see who will be the orange and purple cap winners.

@DocDevavrat Thanks for sharing these scientific details. “...temple grill was extended to the back of the neck” is important. Suryavamshi was hit on the temple. But, luckily his Helnet covered that portion. Getting hit on head\face is rare, but it is important to have perfect Helmet safety🙏

A cricket helmet passes British safety standards by being dropped 2 metres onto an anvil. Impact velocity at contact: ~23 km/h. #Bumrah bowls at 145. A 2016 NIMHANS neurosurgery paper went through 145 years of professional cricket — from George Summers in 1870 to Phillip Hughes in 2014 and catalogued every head injury they could find. 36 incidents. 5 dead. 9 careers ended. 86% of the damage lands on batters. More than half were a ball straight to the head. In nearly 1 in 5, the ball squeezed through the peak-faceguard gap. British Standards mandates that gap be ≤55mm. The ball is 73mm. The 18mm "safety margin" keeps failing — the ball deforms on impact, the grill bends inward, what worked in the lab fails on the pitch. The quieter story is wicketkeeping. Three career-ending eye injuries — Mark Boucher, Saba Karim, Paul Downton. None of them from the ball. All from the bail. You cannot watch both at once, especially against a spinner. Despite the gap between the peak and the grill being smaller than the ball, we often see, the ball getting lodged between them by breeching the grill. After Phillip Huges and Steve Smith got hit by bouncers helmets were redesigned and the temple grill was extended to the back of the neck. When the authors finally swapped the drop test for an air cannon firing real balls at real speeds, cricket helmets attenuated 80% of the impact at slow velocity and only 40% at fast-bowler velocity. Helmets are getting built for safety. Key question: What speed are they being tested at? #Cricket #HeadInjury #Helmets @AMP86793444 @bestcricstories Image courtsey: 1. This is a serious issue. The modern day helmets must be perfect is design and provide 100% protection. I couldn’t watch that hit on our darling Suryavamshi. Luckily by grace of Sri Krishna he is safe. His management must ensure he gets very best helmets & all other protection🌈🔥
ROHIT@RRirohit

This is a serious issue. That ball was 145+ and Vaibhav was inches away from a life threatening hit, these helmets doesn't provide full safety do something @BCCI @rajasthanroyals

Dear @abhishekaitc You stepped into the fire today. Once, Mamata Banerjee stood alone in the Lok Sabha, no office, no armour, hunted by the CPI(M), and still she outlived the storm. That same crucible now awaits you. When fear knocks, do not retreat. Answer it, break it, and move forward. We are with you.
