One genuine reply chain where the author engages back is worth more than hundreds of likes. They are not ignoring you. They are busy being the person you are trying to become. I was guilty of this. Out of every 10 posts, I targeted big accounts 4 times. Manufactured. Forced. Transactional. And it produced exactly nothing. Here is what I missed:  The algorithm rewards constructive messaging with wider distribution. Chasing clout with forced replies is not just socially awkward, it is algorithmically invisible. The goal was never to get a reply from a big account. The goal is to become the type of person big accounts naturally want to follow. No team. No shortcuts. No manufactured banter. Just consistent, honest work that compounds. Heads down. 🔥🔥 Anyone else crawled out of this trap? What snapped you out of it?

AI is shockingly bad at cleaning up the mess it made. 4,000 lines of AI-generated code. Starting to break. Too many bugs to patch forward. So I asked AI to refactor it. It confidently made everything worse. Here's what nobody is talking about: AI writes fast in a straight line. It cannot easily walk back and rethink. That part is still yours. The speed is real. The judgment is still on you.

The small voice nobody talks about: You see a startup raise $100M and something in your brain whispers... should I be doing that? Then you look at your MRR. Profitable. No board. No one to answer to. And the voice gets quiet. Not because the money isn't real. Because the tradeoff finally is.

Fixed a bug in 2 hours. Wrote copy that actually converts takes 2 weeks. The bug had an error message. The marketing had nothing. No stack trace for "why don't strangers care."

systems beat prompts. Every time. I used to open ChatGPT, type something, get something, move on. Did that for months. Felt productive. Wasn't. The shift happened when I stopped prompting and started building workflows that run without me. Not AI as a tool you pick up. AI as infrastructure that runs underneath.
