frustrated that so many Twitch based sponsorships go directly to American streamers! I’ve seen so many fun sponsorships and I have a primarily American audience but never get the offers on my dashboard 😭

@RageDarling I work at a creator focused gaming/marketing platform. Budgets are definitely lower than than 2-3 years ago. There is a definite realignment happening on where to spend. If you do shortform content, check out jestr. There are other platforms that also offer monetization programs

After 8 years of being full time self-employed I’ve got one more month of savings left before I need to quit content creation full time. My income has taken a huge downturn, mainly due to brand activations. Have brands been spending way less recently or have I been wildly unlucky?

@herokerrey There is no real industry standard - it fluctuates between $1 to $2.5 depending on studio Anything above $1.80 are more AAA rates, which is fair, but smaller indie studios operate with small budgets.

So industry standard for covering a game is usually 1 dollar x your CCV right... Why is it that I'm being continiously offered less than that? PLEASE do not take these deals- we are sending the message that this rate is OK.

I’ve been streaming for 8 years, and my viewership dropping below 50 was rare. I’ve had rough patches, sure, but I wouldn’t have been streaming full-time for 8 years if my numbers were that low. These past few months, I’ve had multiple streams under 50, all right after that Twitch update that everyone agrees messed with viewership. And you expect me to believe my viewership suddenly tanked that hard after 8 years?

I followed Zach for Twitch updates, but when I said he couldn’t just dismiss everyone as hysterical over an issue we’re all dealing with, he shot back with a screenshot of my dropping viewership, blamed me, claimed it wasn’t Twitch’s fault, and then blocked me lol

@ShizuVT @Kaichaikat Since it's monthly (not 30 day), if you happen to have one stream that has double your regular CCV, it will balance that out and show higher CCV average for that specific month. It can explain why your monthly averages are higher than your 30-day / per stream CCV.

@indieopium @Kaichaikat And it's incorrect, my average has been MUCH lower than w/e this chart is showing, and whatever he's spreading around right now is misinformation

@Kaichaikat @ShizuVT There are different factors that can explain a lower CCV, but why the entire chart was pulled - I can't tell. I don't know what the point is. I was just explaining _where_ that chart came from.

@indieopium @ShizuVT Im getting so confused. Because if this policy started in 25 and per this chart virw count is lower in 25 than 23 and 24... then... the policy... hurts? Is that not how the numbers work? is lower now better?

@ShizuVT @Kaichaikat He pulled the chart from Sullygnome, which pulls the data straight from Twitch API. It's showing your average monthly CCV.

@Kaichaikat I don’t know where he got this chart, but I’ve streamed on Twitch for 8 years with a loyal viewer base that rarely goes below 50, even at my lowest. After the recent Twitch update, my numbers dropped way below that for a few streams, but this chart doesn’t show any of that

@DerekSzyszka Yes, because ChatGPT is not accurate at all. It will flag something that doesn't need to be flagged, and overlook the actual red flags. I can always tell when someone has run a contract through ChatGPT, and it's just messy.

The email part makes me think the these influencer managers who stopped writing emails are also using 30day analytics tool

Fun fact as a creator: If you don't stream for 30 days+ , you starting to get drastically way less emails about games/keys etc. And you cannot access any campaigns/deals/etc on platforms such as Lurkit/Daredrop etc because your ccv is 0.

The kids in the video are at an "efterskole" or "after school"; a type of voluntary boarding school between elementary and high school where students attend for a year . This particular one specializes in gymnastics.
