@indiffnature

The general consensus has been lost to idiots. I didn't think the world would come to this so soon. Carl Sagan would be horrified.

We are now in the absurdist position in this country where standing with a sign that states the law will get you carted off by the police. The authorities should have protected his right to counter protest. Instead they aggressively removed him. Shocking.

This really just happened. Trump went to Philadelphia to try and sell his new "Trump Sneakers" at Sneaker Con. In the process he got booed, as heard in the video below. Yeah, you’ve got that right. Freshly off of being held liable for fraud, and after having arguably failed at Trump Vodka, Trump University, Trump Steaks and Trump water, he is now trying to grift his base by selling them $399 sneakers. Will anyone really buy them?

Shame Sancho has been crap on loan so far, really hope he picks up form. After refusing to play for the club, we can't bring him back even if Ten Hag leaves. But at this rate with his wages, he is going to be hard to sell. Hopefully he turns this loan around, or INEOS will have a tough job getting him out.

It’s almost like the pro-Palestinians get a sick buzz from accusing Jews of being Nazis. The war in Gaza is not the Holocaust. It is the most heinous slur to compare Hitler and Netanyahu. Adding the devil horns to say he is *even* worse than the killer of 6 million Jews is VILE.

@EdKrassen If Trump does manage to cough up the judgement amount in cash, which is necessary to appeal, I think he is going to be very disappointed with the appellate court ruling. The law is very clear here. Not legal to overstate assets or income to obtain loans.

Dear Everyone who thinks that Trump was treated unfairly in Judge Engoron’s ruling. Consider this: Trump Organization claimed Mar-a-lago should be valued between $1-1.5 Billion. Below is the Burj Khalifa. It is the world’s tallest building in Dubai. It reportedly cost $1.5 billion to build in 2010. It stands 2,717 feet high and is 160 stories tall. Does anyone honestly believe that Mar-a-Lago is as valuable as the cost of this building was to build or perhaps Trump really is a fraud trying to inflate his net worth so that he could illegally borrow more money?

@RpsAgainstTrump The way this family lies is just incredible. No, Trump did not "build the NY skyline" He built a couple buildings out of many hundreds. And no, building a few buildings does not mean you are immune to the law.

As an attorney, there are a few things that stand out to me about this ruling that are absolutely calamitous for Donald Trump and his children. Here’s why. 👇 First, the penalties on Don Jr. and Eric Trump are arguably even MORE devastating for them. Both Don Jr. and Eric Trump are young and both men are currently overseeing Trump Organization day to day. On the contrary, as a 77-year old, Trump’s involvement in the company has reportedly been limited in recent years. This ruling has essentially left Don Jr. and Eric Trump unemployed. Second, the fact that Donald Trump and the Trump Organization are both banned from applying for loans from any New York-chartered financial institutions for 3 years makes it incredibly hard for Trump to actually afford the judgment. Together with the E. Jean Carroll verdict, Trump is now responsible for almost $450 MILLION in penalties - an amount that would wipe out nearly every penny of cash he reportedly has. Engoron did not hold back with his words in this decision: “The defendants’) complete lack of contrition and remorse borders on pathological.” One thing is clear, Judge Engoron’s ruling upholds the integrity of the financial marketplace - and finally holds Trump accountable for his many lies. What are your thoughts, did Trump deserve these historic penalties? -Attorney Joe Gallina
