Reminds me of the parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector Luke 18:9-14 He also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and treated others with contempt: “Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed thus: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I get.’ But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Im shocked how many Christians actually think they are better than others because they sin different. I thought we all knew our sin is deserving of hell and only God is good. I thought we knew that. Wow

Muslim: Why do you hate Muhammad so much? You know Muhammad is Jesus brother i know your pastors will not tell you this. Me: Hate??, that word is too big for this me 😅 I don’t hate anyone. I just don’t agree with him, and no, brother where how??? he’s definitely not Jesus brother. Muslim: But the Bible confirmed Muhammed. Even Jesus spoke about him, the helper that will come and teach everything. Me: Ah yes… the “helper.” The one Jesus said He would send. So unless Jesus is now doing Allah’s job by sending Muhammed because Jesus clearly said He will send the Helper, that’s the Holy Spirit, not Muhammad 😭 Muslim: See i am not here to debate, you are my sister too just that your problem is you haven’t studied Islam. If you did, you would love Muhammad. Me: Love ke? 😅 the Bible already warned me about false prophets, what exactly am I going to fall in love with? Muslim: Muhammad spoke the truth. A false prophet can’t tell people to do good. Me: So if someone gives you 10% truth and 90% confusion, you’ll still call that truth? That’s like eating rice with stones and saying “at least the rice is nice” 💀 Muslim: You’ve been brainwashed by your pastors. Muhammad was 100% good. He told us to help orphans and widows. Me: Doing some good things doesn’t automatically make someone true. Even bad people can have good moments, it’s not a certificate of authenticity… even satan do stuff that looks good sometimes. 😅 Muslim: How can you say that? What good has Satan ever done?😡😡 Me: Well… convincing people to follow something that looks good on the outside but leads them away from truth is kind of his specialty 😬 Muslim: I thought I was talking to someone sensible. You’re lost. You’ll burn in hell.😡😡 Me: Ahh 😭 what just happened? I thought i was your sister?? How did we go from calm conversation to “hellfire” in 2 seconds… who knocked the engine? Muslim: Your hate won’t stop Islam. It’s growing. Christianity is failing. Me: Growth isn’t always a sign of truth. Even Jesus said the wide road is the popular one… so numbers don’t really impress us 🤷‍♂️ Muslim: Mrs Paul, Paul worshipper. What did do wrong? What exactly did i say wrong? 😐

@Oluwamidunsin Why does your standard of living have to go up that much?

In reality it doesn’t work that way sha… Because now, your standard of living has increased Before you even get there, when you match, you get paid $50-70k (which is very low. You will hardly survive well on this) for 3 years during your residency depending on how long it is. When you finish, the realistic is about $220k- depending on your speciality If you want to go for fellowship that’s another extra 3 years of minimum wage. By the time you’re out, life might be a bit better but your standard of living had gone up. You’ll go from a $30/month to a $3,000 per month for accomodation Your feeding goes from $100/month to $1,500/month So also does a lot of thing. Then the higher you earn, the more taxes you pay You might pay about 40% on tax, then you pay car & house insurances, then practice insurance… Being a doctor can make you comfortable but NOT RICH

150+ students from ONE medical school in Pakistan matched into the US this cycle… This could easily be Uganda 🇺🇬 Uganda graduates ~700–900 doctors/year, but only a tiny fraction (<10) match into the US annually. That’s not a capacity problem …it’s a systems + exposure problem. The difference is clear: 🇵🇰 Schools have structured USMLE pipelines 🇺🇬 Most students start late, confused, or unsupported Medical students need exposure early on…
Maurish Fatima@Carbonara_80

An incredibly emotional and proud moment to be a KEMCOLIAN. Nearly half of those matched are from my own batch, and it fills my heart to say I’ve witnessed their journeys up close. I’ve seen friends quietly struggle while juggling multiple jobs just to keep their dreams alive.

Promiscuous women can be forgiven their sins, washed clean, clothed in white, and with a new heart and a new mind in Christ Jesus, they can make godly housewives and loving mothers. If you don't think so, you don't know the gospel or the grace and power of God (1 Cor. 6:11).

Friendships and romantic relationships don’t demand the same things. For example, friendships can survive on Low pressure, Infrequent communication, Fewer expectations, Less emotional exposure. You can go weeks or months without talking to a friend and still pick up where you left off. There’s space to be imperfect. Unlike Romantic relationships that require Consistency, Emotional vulnerability, Conflict resolution, Accountability, Shared goals and deeper compatibility among others and that’s where things get real. Also, long-term friendships often grew over time. They started in school, neighborhood, shared history. They were built in easier environments. But adult relationships? Those are intentional and tested by real-life pressures like money, time, values, communication styles etc. Another thing people don’t say out loud is someone can be a great friend but a difficult partner. Different skill sets. And sometimes, friendships last because they avoid hard conversations, they don’t challenge each other deeply, there’s less at stake if things go wrong In relationships, everything is on the table, your habits, your flaws, your past, your emotional maturity. So it’s not always hypocrisy. Sometimes it’s just that love requires a version of you that friendship never demanded. Good Night Mama Uganda
Maama Uganda@MaamaUganda02

I’m still wondering how someone can have the same friends for 20 years but can’t sustain a relationship for even a year!

@indigobaraka @Acts17David From these 4 aspects (and more) we can determine whether or not the Quran is true or false. The Bible on the other hand, unfortunately, fails when compared to this level of scrutiny.

2/2 I would also strongly advise against marrying a former, ah, "party" girl who converted only recently. Multiple years are needed to assess whether the fruits of a true conversion/repentance are present.

1/2 I wouldn't say a man should never marry a woman with a body count higher than zero. I would say the higher the body count, the more wary he should be. Christians are still sinners, and a weakness for a particular kind of temptation doesn't go away overnight.
