A guy just called me a nazi because I said that Musk is not a nazi- and that it is disrespectful to the victims of real nazis to call people nazis who are not nazis. He said that is "just what a nazi would say. F*^* off!" I told him his nazi-dar is waaaaay off and that he might want to get that checked out.

When assessing whether or not one should make disparaging remarks about a non-violent man in the wake of a very public and gruesome assassination, perhaps it would be prudent to be wary of simplistic memes, out of context quotes, or long-winded diatribes from his ideological opponents. Perhaps a better idea would be to explore the video clips and public words of people from so many different walks of life who loved, or at least respected the guy. There's an old song in my head. Do you know it? It goes like this... "Let there be peace on Earth and let it begin with me."

The claim that Charlie Kirk was homophobic because he argued for stoning gays is ridiculous: In his show, @charliekirk11 was responding to Ms. Rachel (in her popular YouTube kids' show) saying that she was celebrating Pride Month because the Bible instructed her to love everyone. He argued that the same part of the Bible that Miss Rachel quotes (Leviticus) to back up her claims regarding promoting Pride Month also states (in Leviticus 18) that men who sleep with other men should be stoned to death. So, he argues, if this section "affirms God's perfect law when it comes to sexual matters" (no gay sex, no incest, no adultery, no sex when a woman is menstruating), then how could Ms. Rachel be using that same book of the Bible to back up her own claims (and, it follows, her celebration of Pride Month)? He's pointing out (not in the clearest way) that her use of the Bible verse is illogical. Though I'm no Bible scholar, my research shows that it was actually Leviticus 20 that states that they should be put to death, and that it actually doesn't mention stoning for homosexual sex, though stoning was a common form of capital punishment in ancient Israelite law, but it's often assumed or inferred, instead of explicitly stated (!) Of course, Christians like Kirk have the New Testament, which they say establishes a new covenant through Jesus Christ. IT IS CLEAR KIRK WAS NOT ARGUING HERE FOR STONING GAY PEOPLE! As usual, his words are twisted beyond truth to try to make him look bad. Very twisted and dark and unethically done, in my opinion. Took my dogs to the vet, and the assistant tried to sell me on paying for tests to check for parasites. I asked whether it would make more sense to just give them a preventative dose of ivermectin. That seemed to trigger her, and she started going off about how it would not be safe, so I dropped the issue. Then she recommended putting the dogs on heartworm preventative. I asked which brand, and she mentioned Heartgard. When I left, I looked it up and discovered ivermectin is the primary active ingredient. Amazing.
