Here's what went down at the Arizona State Capitol last Thursday, when my fav org @Women4GunRights (WGR) went down to the Arizona State Capitol guns ablazin (not literally) and held a press conference! 🔫🔫🔫🔫🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 This is REAL empowering women. WGR AZ State Director Cheryl Todd proclaimed March 19, 2026 as Arizona Women for Gun Rights Day. Rep. Selena Bliss (R-Prescott), who gave the group a tour of the House, presented a formal Proclamation in recognition of women’s contributions to firearm safety and civic participation. Bliss noted that women are the fastest growing demographic of gun owners, especially minority women. Members of WGR told compelling personal stories about how self-defense has helped them. Michael @infanzon, a chief lobbyist for the Arizona Citizens Defense League (AzCDL) and the firearms industry, said, “Arizona women lead the way on the 2A,” noting that the majority of pro-2A legislation this legislative session was sponsored by female legislators and supported by female advocates like WGR, who are safeguarding women’s rights by championing Second Amendment bills. And on a personal note, since I was fulltime editor of a gun magazine several years ago for a couple of years, my favorite line I learned is "God made men and women different, but Colt made them equal."

Even though Biden’s pistol brace rule was vacated, ATF is still enforcing the same legal theory.   DOJ’s response was not on our bingo card.   Basically, they're telling gun owners: “Yep, we’re still going after your braces. Nothing you can do about it.”

Republican congressman asks police chief if he would enforce gun confiscation. What happened next is unbelievable.

Arizona Sen. J.D. Mesnard (R) wants more colleagues. He’s proposed legislation to add an extra 30 seats to the 60-seat state House. Arizona lawmakers represent about 254,000 residents, a number exceeded only by California, where assemblymembers represent an average of 491,000 constituents. (azcapitoltimes.com/news/2026/03/1…) Part of his argument for the bill is so constituents would have better access to their representation. Makes sense. Two questions for you: 1. Marisa Simonetti, a longshot candidate for a U.S. Senate seat in Minnesota, has been convicted of throwing a live tarantula onto a staircase leading to her then-tenant’s apartment.
