@malantrent I had the opportunity of volunteering with @inmatesedu during my time as a corp member. The opportunity gave me access to know that freedom is underrated, most times, we don't appreciate it

PPDC recently hosted the Founder and Executive Director of the @inmatesedu Inmates Educational Foundation (IEF), Mr. @MAlabidun Alabidun Mahfuz, for a courtesy visit focused on strengthening collaboration around access to justice and rehabilitation. Discussions highlighted shared priorities in supporting inmates and at-risk populations through legal aid, education, vocational skills, and reintegration initiatives. Both organizations identified key opportunities to work together, including linking rehabilitation efforts with reintegration support, expanding digital literacy programs within correctional facilities, and promoting civic education for individuals preparing to re-enter society. This engagement marks an important step toward building partnerships that addresses justice gaps and advances efforts to reduce recidivism and promote inclusive justice.
