@jammles9 The SAVE ACT fight is fake, always was.
It’s designed to make you furious.
There is no plan to pass it.
Republican politicians are playing you.
It’s designed to distract you from increased debt, war, inflation, and further usurpations of your rights.

Kennedy: There's this little game where the Democrats want the nominee to use the magic words that Trump lost the election and the nominees are understandably, in my opinion, don't want to play that game.
Hunt: How is it game? It’s just what happened.
Kennedy: No, it is a game. It’s a game of words.
Hunt: What does it say about where we are that you think that this is a game of words. I mean, when did this get so hard?
Kennedy: The Democrats have made it hard

Trump in the Oval Office this morning admitted he personally asked FIFA to overturn the suspension of Folarin Balogun, saying he "didn't know what the hell a red card was," then invoked the big lie while discussing the plight of Team USA: "The other way, if they beat us, I'd say it was rigged, just like the election was rigged in 2020, but I won't get into that."
But before Trump started speaking, Ted Cruz thanked him and said the quiet part out loud: "There was a reason the FIFA trophy sat here for as long as it did."
Here's a supercut:

@kylegriffin1 This is disgraceful and I would be so mad if I were a player.

NYT confirms:
Trump personally asked FIFA to review a U.S. player's suspension. Now he's eligible to play.
The reversal of Folarin Balogun's World Cup suspension is highly unusual.
It was the first time since 1962 that FIFA has nullified a suspension for a red card received during the World Cup.

C-SPAN: I'm sure you're aware of the article about Trump's income soaring on crypto venture windfalls. The president reported more than $1.5 billion in 2025. Will Congress be looking into that at all?
REP. MARK ALFORD: Uh, I have not read that article. I am not personally involved in any crypto trading

@JohnCornyn I'm laughing at all the grifters screaming at you in the replies.

I marvel at the keyboard warrior-geniuses and grifters who are ignorant of Senate rules and precedents who have miraculously become experts in its arcane rules. Promising the moon and stars and yet destining Republicans for failure is a very effective way to demoralize our base and elect more Democrats in the midterms.

@PeteButtigieg @atrupar I'm so sorry this happened to your family, and I'm glad you're all safe and well.

This week someone targeted my family for harm with a false report. We’re physically OK, but that doesn’t mean we weren’t harmed. I am beyond furious.
Whatever your politics, this is awful, wrong, and can never become normal. substack.com/home/post/p-20…

@RonFilipkowski I'm surprised he didn't say she had tears in her eyes.
