This weekend saw the release of my 13 track all originals album - Prodigal Son - which is available in both digital and CD formats. 12 studio recordings plus a live recording of the title track recorded for the famous Narrowboat Sessions on Facebook. An added incentive to buy the CD or full digital album download is that not all of the tracks are available individually on the streaming services. The physical CD has a 4 panel digipack and comes complete with a fabulous 16 page lyric booklet. I still love holding a physical album sleeve or booklet and reading the lyrics! The cover illustration was created by multi award winning blues artist and illustrator Alice Armstrong who has created artwork for herself, Brave Rival, Dom Martin, The Cinelli Brothers, Beaux Gris Gris, Elles Bailey, Connolly Hayes and others and so I’m in very good company! Appallingly naive defending by Mendy resulted in the Hornets conceding a penalty which Selvik saved. Referee never had control of the game in the first half and some terrible challenges resulted.
