A full but brilliant 2nd day visiting @politie police volunteers. Discussing specialist cyber roles, and then future training strategies, and finishing with a great evening with the volunteer class at the academy. (And lots of train journeys in between, which I’m also loving!)

Long brilliant first day yesterday visiting @PhoenixPolice reserves. 1st morning of reserve academy, families engaged, full reserve command team present. Training 100% the same. Lots of retired reg transfers. Involved in everything. Fully operationally integrated and equivalent.

Enjoyed visiting London Police @lpsmediaoffice Auxiliary. Half of volunteers 15+ years service. And approx half female. The Auxiliary very visible to senior leaders, seen as critical to delivery & recognised as a talented diverse group of people who complement the paid service.
