I've never noticed when looking at photos that British people don't have mailboxes in front of their houses. So does every house have a mail slot in the door, even if you live out in the country? Are all of the mail carriers on foot, or do they just get out of the truck and walk up to every house in the country? I can't sleep until I know how this works.

Well, here's a story. Last April I went to my GP after persistent neck pain. He referred me for an MRI scan. They refused the scan on the basis that the referral has to go through the correct 'pathway'. So back to my GP I go, who refers me to OASIS. I've just left there - with a referral for an MRI scan 🤦🤦. 11 months - MONTHS - waiting to get the same result. Whoever decided that GPs aren't qualified enough to decide if somebody needs a scan or not and they must refer to another 'professional' to clarify the need, should have their head wobbled. This isn't cutting waiting lists. It's extending them
