At the same time we have to acknowledge that long term affordability gets even worse for the middle class as prices quickly adjust to the new number of buyers. Post war a house was 3x annual income. Now it’s 5x. This will make it worse.

When FDR created the 30 year mortgage in the 30s, life expectancy was 63.5 years. Today it is 78.3 and rising fast (for women who control nearly half the U.S. wealth, it is 81 yrs.). The purpose of expanding to thirty years was to create affordability in a stagnant housing market. Same here. Perspective is important.

sure, we would love to keep the 90+ billion a year we send to the federal government above what we get back in federal spending in our state (we have been a donor state for 30+ years) but we dont care because we dominate this countrys economy regardless....but when the poor ass red state redneck hillbillys talk shit on us, we love to point out how useless they all are and how we subsidize their state budgets because they cant come up with the money themselves so a win win
