"My mother, this is the fifth time she has been arrested in China." Outside the Chinese Embassy in Washington, D.C., demonstrators called for the release of roughly 17 Falun Gong practitioners detained in China since April 15. Among them is Wang Youmei, mother of U.S. citizen Alisa Zhou. After serving 15 days of administrative detention in Wuhan, Wang was placed under criminal detention. Her family says they have no information about where she is being held. Also at the rally was 69-year-old Tong Shuzhen, who traveled from New York to appeal for her sister, Tong Shuying, who was previously tortured and has now been arrested again. #HumanRights #China #FalunGong
