@bobfescoe I get that he hasn’t played much there yet but the early results are concerning for the #royals coaching staff. Add him to the list of guys who have succeeded elsewhere (Ohearn, Rooker). Clearly a coaching issue here. No one to blame but themselves for the OF issues recently

@crownroyal64 @leojurgy @cdotharrison The loyalty to Eldred cost Dayton and Matheny their jobs. Have to assume the same thing this season. They’ll let this current regime finish the season then fire JJ, Q and Zumwalt. The org needs to have a clean house top to bottom

Infrastructure in and around the crown center + downtown will shift to make room for a ballpark. KC needs to calm down about parking

@JuannyKC @TonysKansasCity Not everyone will take the street car nor park at P&L. Plenty of people will also stay within the district after a game to eat or grab a drink in one of the restaurants. Spend some time downtown and you’ll see there are other things to do, places to walk to and places to park

@klseaboldt @dillondavis3 Great point @dillondavis3 . So it’s essentially round 2 of Eldred. Matheny wouldn’t fire Eldred. Dayton wouldn’t fire Matheny (or Eldred) so Sherman fired all 3. If someone doesn’t step up and make a change, they’ll all be fired at the end of this miserable season

It appears this season is not going to go the way any of us planned. However, whether you like it or not, the Royals are probably not going to fire their manager. Teams don’t generally fire a manager who’s coming off two winning seasons and to whom they just gave an extension. I’m not arguing principle; I’m arguing pragmatic reality. So I’m unlikely to entertain nightly arguments about whether or not he should be fired. I don’t have the energy. We can talk about his successes and failings, the lineup, the pitching staff, really anything that is actually happening. But a firing is not happening anytime soon and probably not this year.
