Let me just say this, hear me out. I see what your point is in trying to create balance. At the end of the day you help people. I’m not sure it’s the best move to ignore those on the right until the left comes asking too. You have a gift. Share that gift with whatever audience is willing to listen. If the left opted to shun you after joining some on the right to share what you offer, this says more about them, than it does you.

What’s the problem here? Well, I’m black so I can say the shit others are afraid to. Large groups of black people intimidate people. Why? There’s a litany of video proof on the internet that’ll show you why. On a cruise ship or not many times it ends with some kinda violence, ratchet or ghetto ass behavior. Frankly, I’m even friggen sick of it. I may be black, but they are not “my people”.

On behalf of the hundreds of thousands of us that sail each year, Thank You. Being at sea for long periods takes its toll. I appreciate the customer experience crew members provide. Here is where perhaps perspective plays a part in this, mine (ours) is as the paying passengers. We spend good money on some of these sailings. Your perspective is as a crew member where you are paid to be present and tolerant of people. These two views provide different perspectives. Although this one particular video doesn’t fully capture all the behavior I’m speaking of, there is worse on videos out there and I have personally witnessed the violations of societal norms.

Imma be real with you. Cruises are fun. The fun certain people bring to cruises isn’t warranted, welcomed nor appreciated. This “type” of behavior sprung up after Covid, mostly. It’s exhibited mostly by 1 group of individuals. I am 1 of those individuals and even I don’t like it! Have your loud, obnoxious fun elsewhere or just stick with Carnival.
