It might be easy to dismiss this. But when you purposefully remove Jews from a Bondi tribute, you are denying their grief and their existence. What is most shocking is not that it happened, but that people are so casual about it. This is moral cowardice. When an attack is antisemitic, refusing to name Jews is not political neutrality. It is evasion. Surprising when you consider how woke sporting teams became, based on Marxist-led activist causes abroad, finding discrimination anywhere they could and carrying on about diversity and inclusion. The AFL had a golden opportunity to tackle antisemitism head-on but instead demonstrated a societal reluctance to confront antisemitism altogether. Apparently mentioning that Jews were murdered was too... Awkward. You know what else is awkward? Jews being murdered.
