@JamesSager @oliverburdick The world was not created in 7 days. There is no direct lineage from Adam to Abraham to David to Jesus (maybe David to Jesus is true)

This is the false gospel of Rome. Do not fall for it; they are leading millions to hell with their lies. He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” Acts 16:30-31

Christ’s death and resurrection are applied to you at baptism. The power of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost is applied to you at confirmation.

His sacrifice perfects those for whom it was made. It is HE who does these things. “And the former priests, on the one hand, existed in greater numbers because they were prevented by death from continuing, but Jesus, on the other hand, because He continues forever, holds His priesthood permanently. Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.” (Hebrews 7:23–25 LSB) He makes intercession for His people and holds His priesthood permanently — not prevented by death from continuing eternally “But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation, and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy places once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” (Hebrews 9:11–14 LSB) If more sacrifices need to be made, like Rome does, it is a denial of the one sacrifice that perfects and cleanses those for whom it was made eternally. They are doing like the Jews who denied Christ’s sacrifice by continuing sacrificing animals, denying the power of the one unblemished perfect sacrifice that sanctifies and perfects and cleanses . He has OBTAINED ETERNAL SALVATION. It’s not anything that’s up to chance . He obtained it and He distributes it as He pleases to His people . “For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.” (Hebrews 10:14 LSB)

Memorial Day is a time to remember the brave service members who gave their lives for our country and the freedoms we enjoy today. We owe them — and the families who carry their memory forward — our deepest gratitude.

When the gospel is corrupted and tampered with. That is where a serous sin is happening. That is what Rome does. Their gospel includes the works of man playing a role in his standing before God. In Rome, man can be justified and unjustified because of certain sins, then work his way back into a state of justification. Their mass claims to be the same sacrifice as Christ gave on Calvary yet the people can take it and still go to hell. The actual sacrifice took place once for all and it PERFECTS those for whom it was made. And it is received by faith not any other way. In claiming a man can be justified and then unjustified, they deny Christ’s ability to lose NONE of what the Father gives to Him as He speaks in John 6. It denies the golden chain of salvation in Romans 8:28-30. It is God who predestined and fore knew His people, it is God who justifies His people, it is God who glorifies His people— not man doing it to himself or “allowing God to save them”. A man centered gospel where man is in control of his destiny and God is held back from saving anyone unless the fallen man allows Him to by conjuring up faith and believing (which man can not do according to Romans 8:7-8) is just not biblical at all. Christ is a perfect powerful Savior who perfectly infallibly saves every one of His sheep, those chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world Ephesians 1:4. He works all things by the counsel of His will Ephesians 1:11. He died in the place of His people, bearing ALL of their sins and imputing His perfect righteousness to them 1 Corinthians 5:21. In Rome, somehow, after a man has the “grace of justification” he can lose this grace. Somehow the believer in Rome , when he sins, it is still imputed to HIM rather than the SIN BEARER - Christ. Rome doesn’t know who the blessed man of Romans 4 is. Their congregants are still having their sins imputed to them rather than Christ. It is unbiblical hogwash. A yoke upon its people , that they must “perform well enough” and “do penance” to be justified. If that were the case, they would have something to boast about — they did better than those who “lost justification” because of their sins. The apostle Paul says wages are given due to work. Salvation isn’t a wage. But to him to believes upon Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness. Gifts can’t be earned or merited . But Rome doesn’t care about what the New Testament actually says concerning justification . Romans chapter 4. “What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh, has found? For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about—but not before God! For what does the Scripture say? “ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS COUNTED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS.” Now to the one who works, his wage is not counted according to grace, but according to what is due. But to the one who does not work, but believes upon Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness, just as David also speaks of the blessing on the man to whom God counts righteousness apart from works: “BLESSED ARE THOSE WHOSE LAWLESS DEEDS HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN, AND WHOSE SINS HAVE BEEN COVERED. “BLESSED IS THE MAN WHOSE SIN THE LORD WILL NOT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT.”” (Romans 4:1–8 LSB) Christ loses none of His sheep. ““All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will never cast out. “For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. “Now this is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day. “For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.”” (John 6:37–40 LSB) Rome thinks Christ can fail at doing the Father’s will

@CalvZynisT @PartesanJournal @nathancoxey Why did Jesus say you must do the will of my Heavenly Father? Why did he tell the woman about to be stoned to avoid this sin? Answer these questions directly. Jesus will not turn away anyone who seeks him. That does not mean that person is saved.

Derek Chauvin was convicted of murder by a jury of his peers. A three-judge panel affirmed his conviction upon appeal. The Supreme Court of the United States, with a solid conservative majority, allowed his convictions to stand by declining his case. Meg: "don't accept reality."
Megan Basham@megbasham

The lesson here, just as with Covid, is if you have a conviction that the conventional narrative is wrong, and that conviction is supported by evidence and scripture, don’t bend. Don’t go along with the crowd, no matter how impressive the institutional leaders are who are a part of it. It may take some time, but eventually, you will be able to hold your head high when others are trying to memory hole their histories.

@CalvZynisT @PartesanJournal @nathancoxey But your defense of Faith alone doesn’t do it for me. You are putting a somewhat confusing speech by Paul over the clear teachings of Jesus. Of course we struggle with sin and often fail. But we are expected to avoid it. But practice the way you see fit.

@CalvZynisT @PartesanJournal @nathancoxey Jesus no one who cries Lord, Lord will enter into heaven, but only those who do the will of my Heavenly Father. Several other examples where we are expected not to sin. We can't do anything to justify our salvation. That does not mean God accepts sin. Faith alone is anti-Bible.

They do have some things right but err on the gospel of grace by including penances, confession to priests, prayer to saints and angels, the treasury of merit, and force a yoke of man made tradition on its people like the bodily assumption of Mary which is nowhere even hinted at in God breathed scripture

@PartesanJournal @nathancoxey Catholics believe Jesus is the Son of God who died for our Sins and rose from the dead. Salvation comes from Him. But hey, be an ahole to get likes and clicks.

What percentage of current NFL players do you think actually vote? And of those that vote, how do you think they voted for president in 2024? Would love to see the data. I’ll go half voted and of the half that voted, I think they went Trump 60-40. You guys?
