@CSWAP_Destroy I like the idea of comp based on results. Web3 desperately needs a reality check on viable solutions to actual problems, not solutions looking for problems.

I propose the Cardano Foundation take 100M $ADA of their 600M and form a new entity that's completely focused on business. Execs will be compensated on improving KPI and increasing transaction volume. This will benefit $ADA holders by making liquid staking rewards sustainable.

@opti_x What makes anything valuable is it's ability to solve existing problems, and the scope of those problems. The development and messaging around Cardano should always resonate with that. Whats the value add to my life as a consumer is the only thing that matters. IDGAF how it works

How do we "make Cardano great again?" Been thinking about this a lot and got on some calls. And it's a bad question, to be honest, because it focuses on the wrong thing. Why? Because, at least for us users and creators, we can only realistically talk about what's popular and/or what makes us money. And let's be honest: Cardano, as in the blockchain, is not that interesting unless you're a developer working on core operations or development. (I find it interesting, though, but I'm not like most people) Staking Ada doesn't make you much money, especially since staking rewards are declining over time. So what does that leave us with? (And if someone says governance, I will jump off a... never mind. You get it.) It leaves us with NFTs and their communities and apps like Snek Fun, Liqwid, Levvy, Indigo, and so many other Defi apps. Plus, we have wallets that allow us to interact with all of that. So my message is to talk about what you're already using and/or making money from. Focus on what's being built on top of Cardano, not Cardano itself. And this extends far beyond Cardano as well. This is how you bring back culture, unity, and vision. So, find something that works or you like, and scream about it on the timeline and in real life. That's what you and I can do. I'll keep doing that, eventually branching out and adopting that same mindset. Have an awesome Sunday 💚
