Zero shade on this person but real talk. If you're the type of person who can't stomach a protein shake with water because 'it's gross' You have no business training in the gym to build muscle. Building muscle naturally is hard, if you want to get anywhere near a good physique you will need some grit and determination. You will also need to problem solve, make sacrifices and stay disciplined. Drinking a heavily sweetened and flavoured hydrolysed whey protein shake is the EASIEST part of bodybuilding. If you can't handle that, I honestly just don't think you have what it takes as a man to build muscle to a remotely impressive level. Not to mention, if you really can't stomach it, just buy a different flavour. If you can't gulp down 3 mouthfuls of a heavily sweetened protein shake you don't have what it takes to put 10kg of lean mass on your frame. Just don't bother body building - and if you're not bodybuilding, why are you drinking shakes at all? You can easily get it from your diet. Pic is me, small, but natural.
