Just 84 days into 2024, and the Institute of Hospitality has already achieved so much! With a growing membership of over 16,000 people worldwide, highlights include a successful conference in the north, celebrating hospitality literature at our first dinner in Oxford, and highlighting the value of apprenticeships. We've also had the privilege of collaborating with celebrity Chefs Raymond Blanc OBE FIH and Cyrus Todiwala OBE FIH, securing valuable strategic partnerships with a range of organisations, loaned our expertise to the All Party Parliamentary Group on Modernising Employment, and hosted round tables, webinars, podcasts and panels on a wide range of subjects. But that's not all. We've supported the professional development of the Gold Service Scholarship finalists and Galvins Chance graduates, hosted networking opportunities across the UK and overseas, and launched our first Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging guide at this years Master Innholders conference. And with that all behind us, there's much more to come in 2024 as we continue to support the professional development of our #HospitalityFamily worldwide! A huge thank you to @IoHSouthEast Chair Francisco Macedo, MSc FIH SJS MI, and our amazing committee of Sarah Powell MIH, Robert Ledward-Smith FIH, James McComas FIH, Michael Hales MIH, Leanne Silavant MIH, Adam Hersey MIALD FIH, Michael Wood FIH and Wallace Vincent MBA FIH, for your passion and dedication for our Institute across the South East, and for raising vital funds for @HospAction and our own Institute of Hospitality Funded Membership scheme, which provides educational and professional development opportunities to those who might otherwise be unable to access them.
