@mjkaizer @ReOpenChris New residents already pay way more than legacy residents year after year. It sucks. At least this would provide some long term hope. The assessed value resets when a home sells. We moved here 4 years ago, so we pay 3x-4x higher property taxes than most others on our same street.

🚨Governor DeSantis says property tax elimination will NOT APPLY to new residents! “We also are going to look at how the legislature would implement for people who don't live here yet. I don't want to necessarily have people flood here to claim this! Maybe you got to come, and you got to live, and you got to pay tax like Floridians have been doing for a time. Then you can qualify after you have some skin in the game.”

@Wildflower_222 @JebraFaushay Yes! Many temptations, but as you age, the body becomes a lot less forgiving. It’s important to focus on clean eating, hitting the gym and getting good sleep. It’s a challenge to do all of it so I do 80/20. 80% strict adherence and 20% letting it go. 👍

@ireneps @JebraFaushay Well done! Look very healthy and that is hard in a world where fast food and sweets are shoved in our faces at every turn.

@_nictorious we were forced to accept body positivity when the fatties couldn’t control their food intake. Now that these same fatties have control through medicine, all of a sudden thin is in again? Having discipline, self regulation and delayed gratification ARE superior traits. So there!

The way some of y’all talk negatively about people who are losing weight via GLP-1’s shows me that it was never about people actually being “skinny”/healthy but about people wanting to feel superior to others. Y’all move the goalpost constantly
