Nearly two years after the deadly Pune Porsche crash that killed a young IT engineer, the victim’s mother has once again expressed frustration over the pace of justice in the case. Speaking emotionally, she said her family “lost everything” in the tragedy while claiming that no real consequences have been faced by the accused so far.
The high-profile case had sparked nationwide outrage after a 17-year-old allegedly rammed a Porsche car into two IT professionals in Pune. The juvenile accused, along with both parents, was later granted bail by the court. The victim’s mother said legal proceedings are ongoing, but the family still feels helpless and uncertain about the future of the case.

Fortunately escaped a Fortuner in Viman Nagar today ; wrong side, blind turn, zero chill.
Pune’s new equation:
Bigger car = Smaller civic sense.
We became rich faster than we could become responsible.
Drive like you own the road, not like you own the city. 🚗💨
@PuneCityTraffic will you take some action?
Another beast added to the off-road collection a fully original Major with the legendary MDI engine! Running on 33-inch tyres and a winch going on soon.
Built for the rough stuff! Any more suggestions for the setup? 😉
Was travelling to Mumbai from Pune. Could see a lot of overspending and indisciplined driving. Firstly at Urse toll post a White Fortuner with a “आमदार” sticker, kept on going zig-zag and changing lanes to get through fast. I saw the driver was alone in the car. He went through the gates, then again crossing lanes as if he was on a speed boat in the Sea. No HSRP, the only thing you could read was “100” on the registration plate, none of the alphabets could be read. At Kamshet he went into the fuel station. Again he overtook us in the first tunnel of the connecting link, definitely his speed was more that 120kmph. Continued lane cutting and all those stuff that needs to be fined, but b’coz of the sticker & #VVIP number no one stopped him.
My question: who will be held responsible for any event? How will you catch the violator? Why are these non HSRP vehicles allowed in the highway. They should be confiscated at the toll.
Regular speed camera monitoring is already in place, these violators need to be fined there and then it self.
What happened with @supriya_sule yesterday, was monitored and caught only b’coz they had a readable HSRP.
These roads are a death trap, for others when law makers use their clout like this in public highways.
@Dev_Fadnavis@CMOMaharashtra@Mumbai2PuneEway@DGPMaharashtra we the citizens who travel on this highway regularly and pay toll need discipline and action against these violating vehicles and their drivers, they act as if they are the rulers but in fact they should be bought to their rightful place.
@Rahul_J_Mathur Wishing her speedy recovery ❤️🩹and can totally relate to the emotions you are going through around care for elders who mean so much for you.
Grandma is back from hospital today - confidence broken, IM rod to support the femur bone.
Hospital journey has ended but the tough part of at-home recovery has started with the home becoming a hospital of sorts.
Physio is very painful and requires one of us (most me) to be forcing ("encouraging") her to listen & perform the activities.
Life is strange in many ways - she took care of me when I was a toddler and now I am here for her in her old age.
@ChitrakShivalik Chandigarh & Kochi are only liveable cities in India
Others, either you live like a zombie or good medical facilities will be 200 km away
Baked 2 Mango Cheesecakes. One for a dear friend’s son after his NEET exams & one for our daughter who came home from college. Only problem? Madam was expecting Tiramisu.
Imagine being disappointed by cheesecake. In this economy.
