Level 80. Finally!🔥
Not the first.
Not the fastest.
But I made it.
Reaching Level 80 during GO Fest made it even more memorable.

Today’s final “Honorable” mention is from Trainer PkmMasterStefan (@PkmMasterStefan) in Pennsylvania, 🇺🇸!
This postcard showcases public artwork painted directly onto the exterior wall of the Dreamers Company (thedreamersco.org) in downtown Washington (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washingto…).
The piece depicts a massive, whimsical tree structure with sprawling, vein-like branches stretching across a light canvas. Interwoven within the organic network of branches are various playful everyday objects and pops of color:
- A large, vintage teal electric fan resting near the base of the trunk.
- A classic garden rake nestled mid-branch.
- Quirky elements like colorful lampshades, birdhouses, and small yellow birds perched on the limbs.
- The style mimics an intricate, freeform line drawing—resembling neurographic art techniques—scaled up to transform a plain building exterior into an eye-catching local landmark.
The mural was created by Erin McChesney (erinmcchesney.carrd.co), a fine artist and archaeologist. McChesney's diverse creative background spans studio drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. Her work frequently incorporates themes of natural ecologies, industrial disruption, and organic textures, which heavily influences the line-work and tree motifs seen in this specific installation.

Today’s Daily Pick is from Trainer SneakyPika14 (@SneakyPika14) in Wisconsin, 🇺🇸!
This postcard showcases The Tejiendo Raíces (Weaving Roots) mural It sits right within the vibrant, historically Latino Clarke Square neighborhood of Milwaukee (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milwaukee).
The mural is rich with cultural symbolism and local geography:
Ojos de Dios (God's Eyes): The large diamond-shaped configurations are monumental representations of traditional Huichol (Wixarika) Ojos de Dios. Woven with yarn and sticks in Mexican folk art traditions, they traditionally serve as spiritual protective symbols, marking milestones, and offering a way to see and understand the unknown.
The Grid Background: The faint geometric grid line system behind the patterns represents an unlabeled street map of the local neighborhood, mapping the very fabric of the city and the paths the community walks daily.
The Uplifted Hands: At the base of the wall, large, detailed hands cradle the lower spiritual structures, representing the community holding up, preserving, and celebrating their shared roots.
Floral Borders: Bright, multi-colored flowers frame the geometric patterns, a common motif in Mexican folk textiles and street art celebrating vitality and growth.
The piece was created by community artist Isabel Castro (instagram.com/soy_quien_soy_…), who was selected as the Artist in Residence for the Clarke Square Neighborhood in 2018 while still a teenager. Funded in 2019 by the City of Milwaukee Arts Board and organized alongside the Clarke Square Neighborhood Initiative, Castro developed the mural by hosting local community art classes to gather stories, memories, and accounts from her south side neighbors and family.

Today’s first “Honorable” mention is from Trainer IrisI68 (@irisl68) in New Mexico, 🇺🇸! However this postcard is from Orderville, Utah.
This postcard showcases a wildlife mural painted on the side of the building housing Terry's Food-Drug (sites.google.com/terrysfoodandh…) in Orderville (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ordervill…).
The large mural spans the exterior corrugated metal siding of the building, easily visible from the main thoroughfare. It depicts a vibrant, natural autumn landscape featuring:
A central cougar (mountain lion) carefully balancing as it walks across a large, fallen birch log over a mountain stream.
A dense forest of aspen or birch trees showing bright orange and red autumn foliage.
A backdrop of majestic, rugged blue mountain peaks stretching across the horizon under an open sky.
The piece was created by Utah-based wildlife muralist Billy Hensler (instagram.com/hensler_art?ig…). Hensler is well known for painting detailed, vibrant wildlife scenes across various rural communities in Utah.
