@LittlePersonDoc Have heard GP registrars in middle years of training having ES being an ANP. Felt it wasn’t right.

Is it normal for doctors to have non-medics as educational supervisors? I am hearing things of specialty trainees being supervised by ANPs instead of consultants/GPs. Is this appropriate?

@EastMidRailway absolutely packed train from Leicester to Kettering due to there being half the amount of carriages there were meant to be. Why are there not back ups in this situation and why was first class not declassified? Will refunds be given?

@maryam_0m4r Had a similar thing to this when during 2nd wave COVID, doughtnuts were donated for the staff - they were locked in the ward clerk's office and Drs were told they weren't for us if we asked for one and only non-Dr staff were allowed any!

The worst experience was well-being team going around offering hot food (think after 2nd wave covid). We were told that the food was for ALL staff EXCEPT doctors Few days later saw untouched food boxes in staff room - they would rather food go to waste then be given to doctors

@AbbieTutt I really felt this when I first started F1 in Leicester - I started on radiology so had no one around me who wasn't a consultant and then I was on call for every single payday party. Was miserable with no friends for the first 4 months 😫

It is SO HARD moving to a different deanery, with no one around you, in a specialty where you see your other F1’s for 10 seconds a day if you are lucky and know no-one else, I’ve literally spent weekends waiting to go back to work to talk to HUMANS 😢

First night out since I moved to Leicester where I had drumstick cocktails and won £25 for cutting some fruit up First time I’ve felt not lonely in a while.

@mevparekh Yes BUT I don't have notifications switched on and will not look at any emails outside of my work hours. I only really have it on my phone so that I can check my schedule when I'm not at my desk.

@runningdoctorjo Yes it is!!! They've got the rights to loads of other films and tv shows now as well - I'm thinking of cancelling my netflix subscription tbh bc I just use Disney+ so much more! Only Schitts Creek is preventing me from cancelling it tbh.
