one week into new residence following years of nasty crappy motel living & I must say I dont miss the crazy 24/7. in fact have not seen nor heard the ghetto bird circling & there appears to be very few wandering vagrants. much more quiet & peaceful in the 805

crazy that there are limits on following back people I will catch up eventually

well its been years since I had access to a kitchen, so in my journey from homelessness veteran to functional member of society, I cooked my first meal in about 8 years. can't go wrong with some sizzle steak & eggs! really hope I don't poison myself trying to cook again!

first weekend in the new pad was pretty quiet unlike my previous living situation where it was non stop chaos 24/7. This is going to help calm the PTSD mind! The adjustment into normal living continues...

Day 4 of ending the Homeless Veteran life included my first piece of mail at the new residence, as I received my dog registration tags making her legit as well! Time to start the unpacking & get some furniture. Hello FB marketplace! Free furniture works!

Day 3 moving into new residence from homelessness to apartment one last trip into OC to grab stuff World Cup traffic thru LA going to be horrible. finish the move, enjoy the weekend, that's the plan
