we started Enzo with a formal investment committee at the end of every process. 2 years and 30 investments later we killed it. at preseed, slow decisions are bad decisions. if you’re still debating a deal after the first meeting, that’s your answer. our best bets decided in the first 30 minutes with the team.

How is Google search still growing 19% year over year with nearly monopoly like market share in the category? Legitimately might be the greatest business ever created in the history of capitalism
Sundar Pichai@sundarpichai

Q1 earnings are in: 2026 is off to a terrific start. Our AI investments and full stack approach are lighting up every part of the business: Search queries are at an all-time high with AI continuing to drive usage. If I can't understand within 10min after talking with founders what they're building, there's a 99.9% chance I won't invest. Clarity in communication and storytelling matters more than most Nordic founders truly understand. We need to get better.

I spend a lot of time thinking about what investor composition says about a company's trajectory. @Atlassian and NVentures – @nvidia 's VC arm – joins @WeAreLegora Series D extension alongside a group of new investors, bringing the total round to $600M.

AI has transformed how video is created. We think the next wave is about understanding it. Over the past few years, we've seen remarkable advances in video generation, editing, avatars, and creative tooling. An increasingly important problem is teaching machines to search, analyze, reason over, and extract insight from video - across massive libraries and live streams alike. We're calling this video intelligence, and we're actively looking to back founders building here. We're most excited about companies pushing on the core capabilities: - Video-native models - multimodal embeddings, temporal reasoning, and retrieval built specifically for video rather than adapted from image or text - Real-time and large-scale pipelines - infrastructure for processing, indexing, and querying video at the speed and scale enterprises actually need - Agentic and reasoning layers - systems that don't just retrieve clips but answer questions, surface anomalies, and take action on what they see The models and infrastructure to make this real are appearing to be crossing a capability threshold right now. Multimodal foundation models are maturing, storage costs have collapsed, and enterprises are sitting on years of unstructured video with no way to use it. That infrastructure unlocks a wide range of applications including media and sports workflows, security and physical operations, enterprise knowledge management, advertising analytics, robotics, and consumer products, where video has historically been dark data. If you're building in video intelligence at the model layer, the platform layer, or in a vertical application, we'd love to talk!

Chris @chris_j_paxton and @DJiafei have a no-bullshit approach to robotics interviews that's still refreshing and polite--in this interview with my cofounder @kaandogrusoz and generally Highly recommend you give Robopapers a follow for high-signal robotics deep-dives every week

creating what’s been done before has never been easier, but creating what’s never been done requires more ingenuity, initiative, and iteration than ever before. and frankly our culture wants (and will increasingly crave) more of the latter…

Last time the SWE industry suffered such wide scale degradation was when Facebook started the move fast and break things movement in late 2000s. It screwed up many companies for a decade before Facebook itself backed off this mindset, with lingering effects still visible today.

LLMs have done significantly more harm than good for the discipline of software engineering. Talent is obviously diminishing but even more worrying is the lack of curiosity and strong opinions in general. Corporate fent zombies.
