I listened carefully to the interview of the newly appointed political adviser to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, and if that interview truly reflects the direction of the governor’s political thinking, then there is serious cause for concern, and I can only say LOOL. From the sound of it, the plan is after breaking ranks with his political godfather he will marching straight into the APC camp looking for a fight. Abba Kabir Yusuf cannot afford another war. What he desperately needs right now is alliances with the right people. I’ve never paid attention to Bakwana before, but if this interview reflects how he truly thinks, then mark my words: this appointment will be a political disaster. For the governor picking unnecessary fights, especially when his position is still fragile will be dangerous. To fight Kwankwaso in Kano, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf does not need social media noise makers masquerading as strategists. He needs masters of the game, people who understand power beyond hashtags, interviews, and performative bravado. But then what did I even know? Sipping my tea from a local government where Ogan Boye is the chairman 😭

When tragedies happen in other parts of the North, we seem to speak in Unison calling for Federal Government to intervene and sympathize but I notice that once it’s Niger State, people look away. It’s highly unfortunate. Of course, no one will speak out better than Nigerlites but this double standards need to stop. We have lost of people in this Mokwa Tragedy. This is a National Catastrophe, yet Social Media seem to not even notice what has happened. It is most unfortunate
