I am delighted learn that my father, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, is amongst the recipients of Nishan'e Imtiaz. He is the only Parliamentarian alive who was part of the committee, which drafted 1973 constitution, besides being its signatory. He is the longest serving Parliamentarian - this was his 10th stint, twice MNA, seven times MPA, once Senator, remained in electoral politics for 61 years starting as BD member in 1962, Khairpur City's elected Vice Chairman (Chairman used to be a bureaucrat) in 1965 - He has won more elections than any one else in Pakistan, was part of ZAB's cabinet & senior Minister in Sindh Cabinet 72-74 & 3 times CM Sindh.
