@sarahinrainbows Ooh nice. 😊 When I went there was a 100% gluten free stall called Picos Tacos which was delicious - they had GF churros! 😍 Looks like it’s still there but maybe best to check opening times, etc. Apart from that I don’t recall there being lots of other GF options.

@issiwissy That’s a decent shout actually - I went to New Century a few weeks back which is a similar type of food hall in NoMo, but I haven’t tried Mackie Mayor yet. Was it good for GF? The other one wasn’t great for my friend.

Where should we go for lunch in Manchester next Thursday? (Without the kids. Low to mid budget - we’re splashing out at Scof later in the summer.)

@CupcakeCornerUK The Architect is lovely and has lots of gluten free options including pie & fish & chips which you don’t see often. Dough does great GF pizza & take care with cross-contamination if you tell them you’re coeliac. Cote Brasserie is reliably good. Lots of options. 😊

Sorry its been quiet here lately, after 48hrs of labour Alison gave birth to a baby girl early Wed morning. Mum and baby are mostly doing fine, unfortunately after a couple of hours the little one had to be transferred to a NICU ward but we hope she'll only be there a few days 🥰

@CoeliacSanc I’ve used this on the gf tiger loaf which is nearly £4! It’s a great offer.

Note, always check the t&c's on your m&s sparks card offers. I got offered the free loaf again, thought I'd get it for hubby, but looked at the t&c's and made without 400g and 800g loaves can both be used as an alternative!

Popped Waitrose to see what Xmas stuff they had (nothing in our nearest store), I don't go often, so no idea how long they've been about. Trifle tarts, bit different! £3.15 for 2 tarts, milk and gluten free.

@FreeFromWriter I think it’s misleading and potentially dangerous for people who are actually allergic to these things. As a coeliac, if something is recommended as gluten free but it is actually may contain, this puts me at risk if I go on to eat it.

Any thoughts on folk sharing #freefrom food finds on their social media accounts which they describe and hashtag as dairy free / soya-free, but which are "may contain" for both allergens? Objected to this on a 'freefrom' Insta account, and my comment was deleted ...
