Hello guys, I have had a very long call with @Wickymane because I really wanted to understand what went wrong before judging. For those who follow me, there is an art piece I posted around June as a birthday gift, and he is the one who made it. After the portrait of the Late Raila, his post went viral and he received many orders, more than he expected ,since he started the business this year. Clients were sending deposits and instructions immediately, and he couldn’t reject the requests. His work requires a lot of detail, and training someone else to handle a client’s order is difficult because even a small mistake can ruin everything. The main mistake he made was poor communication with a client, mostly because he has been overwhelmed trying to finish the pending orders and his phone also got damaged. I have advised him to focus on completing the orders he already has before taking new ones, and he will also get someone to assist him with communication. For those claiming he is South African, he actually learned his skills from the artist who inspired him. He only used some of that artist’s photos for marketing because, as one of his first clients, he didn’t have many samples of his own work. I personally believe he will continue to do great work, and I hope he follows the advice I have given him on business management.
