To me, the biggest joy of agentic AI is that documentation finally gets the respect it deserves. Docs were always considered a side effect of building. On some occasions, a writer would reveal: a principal engineer who wrote a polished enhancement proposal, a CEO who wrote a comperhansive company handbook. I’ve always appreciated these people because I’m like that too. To me, implementation always needed to follow a well written doc. But in the age of AI agents, writing the doc is all that's left. AI agents thrive on documentation. "spec-driven development", "context engineering", "skills", these are all just fancy words for documentation. If you document your thoughts, preferences, and processes well, you will wield agents like no one else. Writers, now is your time to shine!

Another testament to my "Anthropic is Apple of AI, OpenAI is MS". OAI bought the (very cool and innovative but) hot garbage pile of code that openclaw is, and still figuring out what to do with it, while Anthropic is building it their way, into their own ecosystem.

"כשנכנסתי לעומק והתחלתי לקרוא את הלוגים והקבצים שאופן־קלו יצרה, גיליתי שהיא לא רק קוראת את התכתבויות בוואטסאפ שחיברתי אותה אליהן, אלא גם שיחות פרטיות עם אשתי. היא שמרה את הנתונים מכל הערוצים בקובץ אחד במחשב שלי, בלי הצפנה ובלי הגנה", מספר כהן. "כשהסתכלתי על הקוד מאחורי אופן־קלו, גיליתי שהוא מורכב מחצי מיליון שורות בערך. מפני שידעתי שזה כלי שנכתב בחופזה, היה לי ברור שאף אחד לא בדק את הקוד הזה בשלמותו". כהן לא רצה לקחת את הסיכונים האבטחתיים, ולכן התיישב על הספה בביתו — ובמשך סוף שבוע אינטנסיבי אחד כתב גרסה משלו, קלה ומאובטחת יותר, לאופן־קלו. הוא שיחרר לרשת את הגרסה הפתוחה לפני כחודש וחצי. הגרסה של כהן, שנקראת ננו־קלו (NanoClaw), החלה לצבור תאוצה משמעותית לפני כחודש, אחרי שגורו ה–AI אנדריי קרפטי, חבר הצוות המייסד של OpenAI, המליץ עליה בחשבון ה–X שלו ליותר ממיליון עוקביו. עד היום הגיעה ננו־קלו לקרוב ל–200 אלף הורדות וצברה 23 אלף כוכבים (המקבילים ללייקים) בפלטפורמת הקוד גיטהאב. מדי יום, אומר כהן, יוצרים מפתחים בעולם יותר מ–400 גרסאות חדשות משלהם לקוד הפתוח של ננו־קלו. בתגובה להצלחה, החליטו האחים כהן לסגור את סוכנות השיווק מבוססת ה–AI ולהקים חברה חדשה, NanoCo, שמקדמת את ננו־קלו ואת החזון מאחוריו. הסיפור המלא - בתגובות

Sophisticated agent instructions tend to read more like a legal contract to me than a conversation. Eliminating any doubt, freedom of interpretation, foreseeing every edge case, extremely explicit, structured - that's "Legalese" for you.

@zarazhangrui 💯 literally what I told someone last week about investing in brand awareness. when software was scarce, features were differentiators. but when users will face 500 similar clones, no one will even bother comparing, so trends, reputation, style, will differentiate.

As the cost of building software plummets, software will become more like consumer goods: - People choose their software not just based on practical functionality, but also based on "vibes" (the look and feel, the word of mouth) - People will use certain software in order to signal they're a certain type of person, just like how people buy luxury bags - Very few consumers will make the time/effort to compare multiple software carefully. They'll just use whatever they heard about the most/people around them are using

this is huge. all agents have to do is send "Accept: text/markdown" and we’ll automatically convert the response to Markdown on-the-fly for any enabled site. way fewer tokens. no need to handle it on your own.
