I need you to know that this object is in such exceptional condition that when I saw it I screamed AND cried. It is an unbelievable survival, and makes so clear just how vibrantly colourful the early modern period was

It turned out OK. They seated our group in a somewhat secluded area so it wasn’t as deafening and we could actually hear each other talk. The food was ok. But the service was great. And that is the most important thing. ❤️

Meeting friends out for drinks for a birthday and we’re here early and already I dislike this place. So far it’s only running 1/3. Outdoor seating ✔️ Loud music ❌ No hooks for purses in the toilets ❌ Will update my likes/dislikes after I try to order something.

My pilates class last night was busier than normal. I quietly asked to be at the back "because I'm farty" (losing a bit of my rectum hasn't helped). A woman in the class looked so disgusted and repeated "farty?" very loudly. Took great pleasure in responding, "Yes, bowel cancer"
