@whitequark @bretthmeyer It's kind of an exciting time to be in the fpga space though. Big chips about to be released, altera getting their stuff together and a lot of cloud investment in FPGAs. We can hope that as money pours i to the platform we might start getting decent tools

@itsFrank11 @bretthmeyer sometimes I think "FPGA EDA can't get more depressing" and then I get a reply like this and it gets more depressing.

sometimes I feel like complaining about some issue I have with Yosys, and then people tell me how absurdly bad LSE and Synplify Pro are, and the feeling passes

@bretthmeyer @whitequark Oh man, especially now that I'm using pre pre release tools that have more NDA documents than actual documentation. I definitely miss the yosys docs.
