Giants are re-signing OT Jermaine Eluemunor to a 3-year, $39 million deal that includes $26M guaranteed, per @DavidMulugheta of Athletes First.

@DDuggan21 I personally thought the Greg Van Roten signing was prudent.

Piggybacking on this typically insight column from Ian, here's my forecast for the Giants' free agency:
• I think their interest in Kenneth Walker is genuine, but I've heard his market could be in the $15M/year range. They can't/won't go there.
• All signs point toward Wan'Dale Robinson's departure. He's getting at least $15M/year and potentially much more. His type of game isn't as valued in this offense as, say, Tennessee's.
• I feel best about the Giants re-signing Jermaine Eluemunor of their top free agents. Have heard a wide range on Eluemunor's market value, from $13M to $18M/year. I'll bet on the high end of that for a quality pass blocking RT. The RT market is barren, so if they don't land Eluemunor, I'm not sure they just spend on the next guy. No. 5 pick instead?
• Like with Walker, the Giants would love to sign Tyler Linderbaum. I just don't see them spending $20M-plus on a center. Too many holes to fill to go all-in on any one position.
• I think they invest in a RG instead for a fraction of the cost of Linderbaum. Plenty of quality options available.
• I don't see a Kavyon Thibodeaux trade at the moment. They're not looking to give him away, and I don't think teams are meeting their believed asking price of a Day 2 pick. Still think a player-for-player trade is the more likely avenue, but could see them just rolling with him for now.
• They need to overhaul their LB room and the good news is there are plenty of options. Don't think they shop the top of the market, but they'll sign someone from the next tier (Tremaine Edmunds/Alex Anzalone type).
• Seems like the reported pursuit of Trent McDuffie was (at least) overblown, so don't think they're necessarily looking to spend top dollar on a corner. Think there's a chance Cor'Dale Flott comes back. Have heard anywhere from $8M to $14M per year for him, so likely depends where he falls in that range.
• Remember: Everything can change in an instant in free agency. The Giants were all-in on G Will Fries on Day 1 of free agency last year. He signed with the Vikings instead, so they instead made a big investment in Jevon Holland and re-signed Greg Van Roten.

Giants' Jermaine Eluemunor believes he's "the best right tackle in the league" ahead of free agency nfl.com/news/giants-je…

I can confirm @JEluemunor “loved being on an island” with premier pass rushers. During the week, he would tell the coaches he didn’t want or need RB or TE chips. And, if he got one in a game, oh boy did he let the coaches hear about it on the sideline… he did not always mind a little B gap help from his Right Guard though 😉

GVR is 36. He was never a long term answer.
Jermaine is going to get paid. He’s busted his ass for years. It’s time for him to collect his check. I mean the dude essentially just played on James Hudson money and performed as a Top RT in the league.
Runyan was never the “long term” solution. He’s a good LG not great.
JMS they tried to develop and he’s solid not all pro. You can replace him.

@AnthonyBetss Agreed. But we were always replacing the entire line outside of AT.

Jermaine Eluemunor went from praying for the season to be over because he didn't want to play football early in his career to now believing he's the best right tackle in the NFL.
The unwavering confidence Eluemunor has built has helped put him on the verge of finally cashing in. He opened up about the low points on his journey that were darker than you realized.

@MacintoshGraeme @spotrac It’s also just not the NFLPAs job to help teams keep players from getting to FA and getting paid less
English

@spotrac Can't imagine that EVER being on a list of negotiation issues.
It is such a small percentage of players it effects so has no valve
