@HACKETTREF With force* challenging for the ball* both are against the rule= NO RED... Simple!!!!
English

@mikethreat @footyinsider247 @HACKETTREF Here is a FACT that tells you WHAT THE RULES ARE... if you understand english, should be easy for you...

English

@footyinsider247 @HACKETTREF It was a pull, watch it back. It was soft, but still a pull. And he was reaching for his hair specifically.
English

@Oguejiofor39514 @SkySportsPL Jumping guns to win an argument is a dirty game...
English

@SkySportsPL Why all this reaction because a United player was sent off. They referee was right, stop trying to influence the decision.
English

@fkhanage @hbrooks_coach Hang on... but, just a few weeks ago the same ref thought this was not a RED? Who is daft?
English

@hbrooks_coach It’s a red, Harry. That the rule exists is another topic for debate but he’s pulled his hair and deserved to go.
English

So fucking stupid. It obviously isn’t a red. He has a man bun. 99% of players in aerial duels grab the shirt in some way. It’s instinct. DCL just happens to have hair in the way.
If I didn’t work with individual players I’d have stopped watching this sport long ago.
I don’t watch games for enjoyment anymore.
As a spectacle it’s been killed by VAR and boring coaching.

Lisandro Martínez has been sent off for violent conduct 🟥
English

@Prostevejohnson Exactly what I was thinking... and het he was seen complaining all decisions....
English

@terryflewers Hahahahahaha.. the Prem refs are a JOKE now a days... 🤡
English

Following the hair-pulling incident involving Kenny Tete and Antoine Semenyo (who joined Manchester City from Bournemouth in January 2026), the PGMOL and match officials concluded that the action was "not enough" to warrant a red card for violent conduct.
☈ッ@TheFergusonWay
No "violent conduct" or even a foul given here btw
English

@SkySportsPL Nothing was given in this game though.... and guess what IT WAS THE SAME FREAKING REF......🙄🤡 I MEAN cummon now... you just cannot make this up...

🎙️ Roy Keane on Lisandro Martínez’s red card:
Both players were up in the air grappling each other. Martínez pulled his hand away the second he realised it was on the lad’s hair. If that’s a red card these days, then the game’s gone completely soft. It’s embarrassing.
And don’t get me started on the rest of it. Clear fouls on United players – Casemiro and Mazraoui – and the referee just waves play on. I don’t know what the Premier League officials are watching, but they seem to miss the obvious ones when it suits them. It’s a joke, absolutely shocking.

English

@memesvsfootball @rioferdy5 @FA_PGMOL Yes. The women’s one should have been a red. A big deal was made about that it at the time. Are you saying pulling someone‘s hair is ok irrespective of man or woman?
English

@13iggie @TouchlineX How do you know its on or off side? VAR didnt even check it. Tech not used, defo... you cannot be sure...
English

@footballontnt When Leeds foul... commentator: this is a contact sport... When Man Utd foul: "this should be a card, this should be sending off"... the difference in the last 2 games with ref and red cards are ridiculous to say the least. It has affected the games in a big way.

@Matt_Law_DT Very professional.
And then you wonder why standards in football journalism are in the gutter when you tweet like a 14 yr old girl.
English

Manchester United complaining about penalties 🤣🤣
Sky Sports Premier League@SkySportsPL
Manchester United are to make a formal complaint to the head of referees at PGMO, claiming they should have been awarded a second penalty in the 2-2 draw at Bournemouth last night 🚨
English

@anshum2025 Kya tha woh bhai...Same ref VAR Aduo has cost us 4 points this season... THEY NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED.
English

Chris Fernandes 🇵🇹🇮🇳🇬🇧 retweetledi

@BBCMOTD The Premier League apologised to Man Utd after wrongly disallowing Martinez goal vs Burnley.
The ref and VAR today that denied Amad penalty was the same duo that denied Martinez clear goal vs Burnley.
Shambles. Same two costing us again. Four points that!
