@MothKira Oh 100%, some of my favorite memories raiding are helping people clear content after I have cleared it. Clearing for yourself is good but helping others cross the finish line is such a good dopamine hit.

@itsacirclepun pushing through savage and ultimate raid with other people created some of the best friendships and memories i've had people are so missing out

Limiting every job to 16 buttons is the most unnecesary thing. I dont know how SE convinced people button bloat is a problem. You have 48 binds on controller with WXHB bars. "We broke the 2m meta" you created that problem though it was fine before EW.

@MothKira Oh 100%! It's a huge part of why endgame content has such a low completion rate is just because people are afraid of trying / conflict avoidant. I genuinely believe *if they want to* you can get any player to clear any ultimate / encounter, but so few people want to(is fine)

@itsacirclepun I think a lot of people see any challenge as friction that needs to be removed, it's just not much deeper than that to me. but everything becomes bland and meaningless without friction

@MothKira I have 8 macros on my scholar hotbar most for pet management on one of the "button bloat" jobs. If I can handle that then people are being babies or too lazy to experiment with keybinds that work for them *baring physical disabilities.

@MothKira Oh for sure, like I dont even hate the idea of evolved mode and think an okay amount of the changes are good esp for lowering the floor a bit. But my issue is like you that it's just way too much at once lol. 1/2

@Shikiryu05 @omgthecheat I mean the chance of making a rotational error goes up with difficulty in content, anyone saying this that doesn't do week 1 prog or ultimates is delulu idk. If you do then good on you but it's very common for rotational mistakes to happen in hard content when progging

@omgthecheat I don't believe people think that dropping a combo once every 50 hours is an important part of skill expression.

I don't believe anyone that says they've never dropped a combo before in a difficult fight

@Skull_God The worst part as a healer main is that like, healer in prog is a 11/10 experience and the best way to experience the game (imo). But healer after prog is like CBT if you don't have a group good enough to let you autism opti out, and now they're removing all opti so fuck me ig

Yoshi p keeps trying to make people try healer without asking why healers ask to not play healer

Last time I yap about 9.0 healing till we see more, but Its actually insane that the NPC line of "theyre giving healers more healing so content will hit harder" has been repeated for the entire time ive been playing and yet the role / content has only gotten easier every time.

@elua_01 @KarethCrestfall I dont even know if I would agree with that. This tier was a very small but refreshing increase in regen healer relevency (m11), and gave me hope for the future. Then we got canon healslutting so idk what to think now LOL

@itsacirclepun @KarethCrestfall I think the state of the game should tell you noone on the design team has played healer in a long time, especially in high end content

@SUPAH_SUPAH Yvone would be definitely be annoying while Rossi would only be annoying if you're *not* Endmin. Fluorite and Avy though....you'd wake up tied to a chair in a dark room only to find out that $5 had hourly interest.

@envinyon Like according to you, if a raidwide is coming in 3s and swiftcasted gcds are required to survive it, but someone is on the floor dead I'm supposed to wipe the party just to let the buff hit the dead person's bar. Makes 100% sense of course. 2/2

@envinyon We love generalist statements that expose a lack of experience in the group being critiqued. There are 100% situations where it is acceptable and even correct to use swiftcast on something other then raising in prog, thinking otherwise is a massive self report. 1/2

#FFXIV if you play healer and don't save swiftcast for raises I hope your house explodes
