#WATCH | Bengaluru | A student who appeared for the CET examination at the center in Krupanidhi College, Madivala, Bengaluru, says, "I went to the center around 9.40 am. I kept the bag in the room and they didn't allow me because they saw my 'Janeu'. They started telling that you have to remove it. If you don't remove, we can't allow you to write the exam...Around seven students were also asked to remove their Janeu. We had no option so we removed it...I felt very sad. I could not write the CET exam properly...This happened yesterday..."

#WATCH | Bengaluru, Karnataka: On the incident at the CET Examination Centre, Karnataka Minister MC Sudhakar says, "... During the CET exam, a few boys were asked to remove their sacred thread. Officials called this deeply troubling, noting similar incidents last year that had already drawn statewide attention and strict instructions. Despite clear guidelines and special officers deployed to oversee dress codes, the issue has repeated, raising doubts about whether it was intentional. The government described the act as a violation of human rights and privacy, stressing that no student should be forced to choose between faith and education. A complaint has been directed to be filed against the exam centre management, and the Deputy Commissioner has been asked to take action. Authorities are also examining legal provisions to ensure stricter enforcement so that such incidents do not repeat in future examinations."

Today, exercising the provisions of the Constitution of India, more than two-thirds of the AAP MPs in the Rajya Sabha have merged with the BJP. Seven MPs have signed the document, which was submitted to the Hon’ble Chairman of the Rajya Sabha. I, along with two other MPs, personally handed over the signed documents.

Last season I thought Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was getting hyped way too early. An old-school cricketer, I believe there should be no haste in fast-tracking young players. But a year later, I think he is ready to graduate to the next level. The 15 year boy can entertain and play match-winning knocks.

I had predicted SRH to win but never bet against the King I guess. Defending champs started the season strong, Padikkal completely took the pressure off and then Kohli did what he always does. Ishan’s knock went in vain but SRH will take confidence from the fact that they still scored 200 despite three early strikes by Duffy. #RCBvSRH #IPL2026
