Niagara Falls is NOT in Toronto.
Stop putting a 2-hour drive on "must-visit Toronto" lists.
Next you're gonna tell me Montreal is a neighborhood downtown.
Everyone talks about retiring early.
Few talk about switching to part-time.
My wife went part-time at 32.
I went part-time at 38.
Less stress.
Same benefits.
Same hourly pay.
You don’t have to quit working to reclaim your life.
Would you take a 50% pay cut for an 80% better lifestyle?

Homelessness in Canada has DOUBLED since 2018.
~65,000 people on a single night in 2025
59% higher than 2020-22 levels
Unsheltered & chronic cases surging
What do you think needs to be urgently addressed to fix this?
My IT friend used to earn well over 6 figures but he can't find a job these days so he's doing ubereats/instacart these days to support his family. He says a lot of his friends look down on him now. 😬 Terrible friends
@RoaringHammy Your friend is loser, and gross by default. He should leave the country and go back to where he came from. He failed his family and country miserably, and deserves to be deported.
🇨🇦🤑 Canadian investors - did you know this? 👇
Most Canadians think the FHSA is only useful if they’re actively planning to buy a home.
That’s not true.
If you’re eligible, you can:
- Contribute up to $8,000/year
- Contribute up to $40,000 total
- Deduct contributions from your income
- Invest and grow the money tax-sheltered
- Withdraw it tax-free for a qualifying first home
And if you never buy?
You can transfer the ENTIRE FHSA directly into your RRSP or RRIF without paying tax, AND without using any RRSP contribution room.
The FHSA is essentially an RRSP with an additional tax-free homebuyer option.
Ignoring it could mean giving up $40,000 of extra registered contribution capacity.
