We are starting to test ads in ChatGPT free and Go (new $8/month option) tiers.
Here are our principles. Most importantly, we will not accept money to influence the answer ChatGPT gives you, and we keep your conversations private from advertisers.
It is clear to us that a lot of people want to use a lot of AI and don't want to pay, so we are are hopeful a business model like this can work.
(An example of ads I like are on Instagram, where I've found stuff I like that I otherwise never would have. We will try to make ads ever more useful to users.)

In the coming weeks, we plan to start testing ads in ChatGPT free and Go tiers. just describe the picture you want and it will:
– plan the photo like a creative director
– offer pro-level suggestions
– write the entire JSON prompt for you
all you have to do is copy and paste the JSON and you'll get images that look like a creative director made it

@ShopifySupport Next business day? Wait until Monday? Meanwhile the website is down for 3+ days? It's hard to stay reasonable under this timeline. This is insane punishment for an SMB that can't access the back end of their store. I need the store back online and we can sort out the issue later.

@ShopifySupport In the meantime my website will remain offline, and I will wait and confused website visitors by email and social DM. Hopefully I will hear back soon but it's been 24 hours being offline and I don't know what else to do.

@ShopifySupport I have yes. Email and web chat since yesterday. Very time consuming, tons of back and forth. Store still offline and doing damage to my SEO, brand, and my customers' experience.
