@Chris43318246 @HamptonPool Swimming at Charlton Lido made these distances feel more doable when building endurance. But sadly, it’s much further for me now.

5,000m swim after work wasn’t going to be easy. But @HamptonPool made the bitter pill far easier to swallow! Thanks for the a fab place to swim!

15km swim in 15 C, in skins, and 15000 steps with all my kit. An endurance challenge? Yes, but today is #SuicidePrevention Day. After losing my mum, the cold water and long-distance swimming was my only relief from a suicide bereavement. This one’s for you gorgeous. ✅
