you spend 6 months building a saas. someone opens cursor on a saturday morning and ships the same thing by sunday dinner. so why are any of us still building?

Why app builders still build apps and not rely on PWA? I understand if the app is like really complex but for simple apps, if I use PWA method what am I going to miss?

2 new milestones for my little SaaS @DataFast_: ✅ $3,000/day ✅ $4,000/day Growth stalled after hitting $20K MRR, but since adding the AI bot traffic feature, it’s picking up again ($24K MRR now). A good reminder to keep shipping!

Cannot say it enough, if you are driving a car in NZ, make sure to add windscreen damage as an add-on. I believe the roads are built in such a way or the weather is such that there are high chances your windscreen will be damaged....

@itsvik4s Because scrutinizing a bill signals scarcity. Handing the card over instantly signals that the number doesn’t change anything for you or your bank account. People read confidence in what you don’t do.

Never look at the bill at dinner. Just hand them your card as soon as they give you the check or before they even go to grab it. When writing the tip if it’s more than you expected then look over the check. This subtly communicates you’re rich, trusting and go out often.

People who say they won't raise VC because they don't want a boss have absolutely no idea how a company actually works. The CEO is the boss. Investors do not run the company. Unless you sell the majority of your shares you can do whatever you want. This kind of thinking will hold many people back. If your business would benefit from funding, then raise funding. Thinking you have more freedom while strangling your growth because of a trope on X is not smart.

The biggest win for me this year wasn't a new tool. It was getting comfortable shipping something small and imperfect instead of waiting until it felt "ready."
