Really saddened to hear about the passing of Rabbi Alvin Kass A’H. I had the honor of knowing him, and he was truly one of a kind. So much warmth, wisdom, and humor every time we met. The kind of person who made everyone feel seen. I always looked forward more than anything to seeing him each time I performed for the @NYPDnews . For nearly sixty years he served as the NYPD’s Chief Chaplain, guiding so many through life’s hardest moments, including 9/11. He was a real light in this city and in so many people’s lives. May his neshama have the highest aliyah. 🕊️💙
