The Chinese automaker BYD has opened a factory in Camacari, Bahia, and according to reports, more than 10,000 Chinese workers are being brought to the municipality to work under conditions bordering on slavery.
Furthermore, the arrival of more than 10,000 Chinese immigrants to the city of Camacari represents a profound demographic and political transformation.
Citizens of Bahia fear that this Chinese community could become involved in local politics.

Today the SEC and CFTC jointly issued guidance clarifying how federal securities law applies to crypto assets
The 68-page document:
-defines digital commodities, digital collectibles, tools, stablecoins and digital securities (and provides specific examples of each)
-explains crypto assets subject to investment contracts
-provides guidance for mining and staking
-applies the Howey Test to airdrop guidance
This is a massive step forward for regulatory clarity for crypto in America

CFTC issued a no-action letter saying non-custodial wallet providers aren't intermediaries.
SEC issued a rule clarifying, finally, how the Howey test applies to crypto.
Chair Atkins announced plans for "Reg Crypto," a safe harbor for token issuers.
