@ivanonchi Sorry for the trouble here, and glad you were able to work around it with MCP. We’re investigating this issue now, and we’ll share updates here: linearstatus.com
English

@linear is not loading for me this morning, luckly I could update tickets via MCP 🤖

@dhh When I started my latest side project I was a bit anxious because there weren’t many people writing about AI with Rails, all was about Next and React. But the Rails side is pretty fine in my experience with Codex👌
English

Convention over configuration set the path for 20+ years of great training data for AI to use today. Not only does this mean agents do great with Rails, but also that squishy humans can quickly and confidently review the output without a jungle of distracting boilerplate.

I think people are sleeping a bit on how much Ruby on Rails + Claude Code is a *crazy unlock* - I mean Rails was designed for people who love syntactic sugar, and LLMs are sugar fiends.
English

@PabloSantanaT Haha, fair enough. Can’t argue with results, congrats again on the milestone. Consistency clearly works, even if some great posts still get lost in the timeline.
English

@jakobjelling Hey Jakob, I saw your post about Launchli, thanks for the story! It is now live. Still early days for ShipFeed, so I’m very open to feedback as you give it a try.
English

@Riley_Ikni @s_chiriac Love the idea of building in public and thought a new platform with this marketing concept would be cool. Basically marketing is an endless problem 😄
English

@ivanonchi @s_chiriac Got it
What made you build this idea?
you had this problem yourself?
English

@upen946 Post about your product updates and get backlinks
shipfeed.dev
English

@Riley_Ikni @s_chiriac Also, there is an SEO angle: if your updates live on a permanent page, they can rank over time and earn backlinks. Tweets and forum threads rarely do.
English

@ivanonchi @s_chiriac People have problems sharing product updates ?
(Am trying to understand)
English

@IndieSamMaker @s_chiriac Hey Sam, as a thanks for taking your time giving detailed feedback and reporting the bug, I granted you 3 months of Pro plan, in case you want to continue trying it out with pro features enabled.
The bug was a problem handling the svg logo and is already fixed.
Thanks a lot!!
English

@ivanonchi @s_chiriac Also there seems to be a small bug when I've tried to create a product 😅💪

English

@Riley_Ikni @s_chiriac ShipFeed is a place for founders to share product updates as they ship. Launches, features, milestones, and progress updates.
It just went live recently and is still early, but open to anyone building.
English

@ivanonchi @s_chiriac What's your product about?
How long has it been live?
English

@IndieSamMaker @s_chiriac Hey Sam, Thanks for trying out Shipfeed! You're absolutely right, I have to hustle to get momentum and gain domain authority. Your feedback totally makes sense, added to the backlog! But first I must iron that "small" bug out 😱
English

@ivanonchi Hope you get them really fast, good luck 💪
English

@Robert_Watkin_ Yeah, that delicate balance that I struggle with as well. Thanks for sharing!
English

I have failed...
That's how I've been feeling recently. Not because anything has gone wrong...
but because I have dropped the ball
I was actively coding for a few hours per day and interacting on X for a few hours each day for over 3 months...
Outside of my day job, while maintaining my personal life
(This also resulted in me neglecting my fitness and health)
I wouldn't even say I burnt out but Christmas & New Year got in the way as well as some personal situations and I have struggled to get back into the swing of things
Realistically it has been less that 2 weeks I've not been active but it feels like a lifetime
It probably isn't good that I feel this way but I think that is part of the impact X can have when activity drops
That being said, my SEO traffic on BlogLab and MyUserFeedback has continued to grow thanks to BlogLab working well and I still see a bright future for BlogLab
I won't be giving up on my dreams anytime soon but wanted to share my thoughts/feelings recenty in the name of transparency
After all, building in public is about the ups AND the downs
So that's my little rant over, I will be slowly getting into things again and sharing progress on X but trying to not put the pressure on myself as much
There is plenty on my todo list so let's see how things play out going forward
After all, if I need a break, then I should take it without worrying about analytics or reach fadinf
My focuses for this year:
- relationships
- health and fitness
- then my products
- then growing on X
Trying to focus more on product development than X until I build up some momentum
Hope you have all had a great Christmas and New Years! Wish you all the best for 2026

@buildItN0w Solid advice! I hope I can launch soon a project that could add to your backlink strategy.
English

My backlink strategy
- Submit to some directories
not every single one but some higher DR ones + ConfettiSaaS.com is always a must!
- write blog posts
start with AI generation, but refine manually, don't spam but make sure they get into Bing (and therefore ChatGPT) with ShowUpInAI.com
- Do backlink exchanges
ask for backlinks from websites in your niche, give them a link from your page or another project. Use BacklinkDog.com to make sure your backlinks don't get removed silently!
