@TateTheTalisman My father committed suicide. He had stage 4 cancer, was given 6 months. After suffering for 9 months, he ended it. Worked his whole life to be able to leave us kids some money, didn't want it to go to the nursing home instead.

I truly believe the act of suicide when you have children is up there with the most evil of sins. It’s on par in terms of evil with rape and murder. If you don’t have kids? Suit yourself. But if you do you’re a true selfish scumbag and will probably burn in hell.

I think your take is a bit harsh. I'm in my late 30s and I personally know over 25 people who have committed suicide, many of whom had children. Having contemplated the 'WHY' many times. I've come to the conclusion that people in that dark place aren't thinking straight at all, they are not themselves. There may even be a demonic or spiritual element to it. I've done a podcast with Jerry Marzinsky, a retired licensed psychotherapist with over 35 years of experience working with schizophrenic patients in prisons and hospitals. His groundbreaking research shows that the "voices" these individuals hear aren't just brain hallucinations but intelligent, malevolent parasitic entities that manipulate and torment them often aligning with classic descriptions of demonic influence.
