Made the decision to no longer raid in Liquid. I’ve been a part of 14 races, won 7 of them, and it feels bittersweet to let go after having been here since our first attempt at going for world first in Uldir (1/2)

To put in perspective how much time the top 3 guilds spent from start to finish (trigger warning) 39 days 14 hours a day 546 hours 5.5 weeks Puts us right around 110 hr/week 😅 Grateful and appreciative to all the support @TeamLiquid provides during these stressful weeks 🙏

I'm no longer with Liquid. Nothing bad, passion just shifted from RWF to my own personal projects. Feels like the right time with the addon restrictions too. Going to focus on developing TimelineReminders for Midnight, and potentially a new project!

@SookiePark I feel the same with not being able to cry but I found this comment that helped. “The last sacrifice you made for your dog was taking their pain and putting it on yourself and they’ll forever be thankful for that.”

@SookiePark Erin and I are dealing with it right now too with Eevee. Everyday is a chore and there are so many tips and so many “ways to deal with it” but none of them feel like they help right now. Just know you’re not alone even in your grief. Mandoo was so loved. I’ll miss her so dearly.

This grief feels crippling and idk what to do, I feel like I’m like I’m floating around but not in a good way, but I also feel so numb that I can’t seem to cry even though I’m so heartbroken. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with this bc it’s freaking me out

Hug your pets and loved ones for me. Erin and I lost our dog Eevee on Tuesday to a freak health complication. She was healthy and happy and had just been given a clean bill of health last month. Life is too damn short and it’s certainly not fair. This photo is from Monday…

Finished 4th place in the mdi, ggs to all teams The top few teams were on another level and it was hard to match them but we improved a lot since the time trials and group stage and that’s definitely something to be proud of Till next time!

I have some good news today For some background this year has been pretty tough. My mum was diagnosed with bowel cancer in February from a random routine test, thankfully we caught it very early but she had to wait 2-3 months before the surgery. After about a month of waiting she had some further health complications (that I won’t describe in too much detail) due to the cancer and needed to have an emergency surgery within the next 48 hours. The surgery went well, then the hospital did some more tests & scans to check how much it had spread. They found it was beginning to spread from the area that was removed, so the emergency surgery felt like a blessing in disguise. Everything here felt like we were very lucky given the circumstances, things could’ve gone so much worse and I’m very grateful that they didn’t. After that, my mum went through a long period of chemotherapy which was pretty horrible for her but necessary, and today was her last chemotherapy session! She got to ring the bell on the way out, my dad said she almost broke it. She beat cancer and she was so strong the whole time, I’m so impressed and proud of her My dad was amazing through all of this I don’t know what I’d do without him, he does everything and took on even more responsibility with my mum being sick. He’s the strongest person I know and I respect him so much I didn’t tell many people about this happening and I took a small step back from streaming / social media without saying anything to take care of myself and my family, but thank you to everyone who showed up during this time even if you didn’t realise it you all helped a lot Feeling very lucky and grateful right now, and I’m looking forward to getting back to normal. If there’s any lesson to be learned here it’s treasure your loved ones and take those routine tests they might save your life. Thanks for reading ❤️
